Job Description :
Sourcing Managers develop and implement strategies for assigned commodities and suppliers to deliver value to the business by ensuring industry leading operations and maintenance performance for over 50 wind and solar power plants in the US, with a capacity of 5+ GW and growing.
Key Responsibilities
Work with Global Technical Services to develop and maintain technical specifications to ensure design consistency and long term, reliable performance.
Lead identification of qualified sources of supply. Manage risk and improve leverage by implementing multiple sources of supply. Develop and implement Sourcing Strategies for strategic commodities.
Prepare scopes of work for bid packages. Works with stakeholders to refine requirements. Collaborate with Corporate Procurement to publish and evaluate requests for proposals consistent with Company policies.
Key participant in negotiations of price, terms, conditions with suppliers and serve as point of contact on contract renewals, amendments, etc.
Interpret and evaluate contract provisions, monitor and keep up to date on market standards, evaluate findings, and make recommendations. Manage and improve supplier performance and relationships. Anticipate and resolve any quality issues or risks. Manage major warranty claims.
Ensure efficient work processes and robust documentation. Meet all Company policies/standards, and work to improve processes.
Develop and implement key performance metrics to measure against goals and objectives. Seek feedback from internal customers with a focus on continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering or Business.
Strategic orientation with excellent analytical, project management, negotiation, presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Self-starter with demonstrated performance leading initiatives and building consensus at all levels of a matrixed global organization.
Fluent in reading and interpreting technical documents, drawings and specifications. Prior experience with power generation desirable.
5 years supplier management experience: including qualifying suppliers, negotiating pricing and administering contracts, managing supplier quality, etc.
Strong understanding of purchasing workflows and SAP/ ERP systems.
Ability to travel (15%).
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree in a relevant field
Experience with wind plant construction, operations, and maintenance.
