This role reports into the Global Medical Immunology team that is part of the Medical Affairs Specialty Care organization.
Our Medical function serves as a key strategic partner with commercial, regulatory, clinical, and market access on therapeutic solutions to support patients' needs.

Position Summary
The Global Medical Director of Dermatology, reports to the Global Medical Head of Immunology and works under the direction of the Dermatology and Rheumatology Global Medical Lead.
You will closely collaborate with cross-functional teams, develop, and execute asset medical plans, support lifecycle management activities, and integrate evidence-generation planning.
This role also drives stakeholder engagement and data generation, ensuring excellence in medical launch readiness. A vital aspect of the role is facilitating cross-functional, external collaborations and engaging with various stakeholders to align goals and strategies.
The role will bring in-depth knowledge of clinical studies, ensuring that medical plans and strategies are underpinned by robust scientific evidence and tailored to meet the needs of patients.
Key responsibilities include:
Support the Global Medical Lead in developing and executing an integrated medical strategy for Chronic Spontaneous Urticaria (CSU), Prurigo Nodularis (PN), and other dermatology LCM indications.
Participate in the Immunology Pipeline integrated evidence generation strategy definition, planning, and execution worldwide
Interface with key internal and external stakeholders across multiple teams to help foster the development and understanding of the evolving treatment landscape of CSU, PN, and dermatology LCM indications
Support the medical lead in collaboration with cross functional partners (i.e. New Product Planning, Clinical development, etc.) on medical strategy to ensure comprehensive thorough scientific and clinical evaluation of new therapies in immunology
Support the cross-functional teams for the development of an integrated KOL engagement plan, medical education, and emerging leaders' program
Lead data generation efforts by bridging global ambitions with local affiliates based on in-depth understanding of the therapeutic landscape
Implement a strong partnership with local cross functional team, global & regional medical for appropriate communications strategy and KOL development
Lead evidence generation efforts including design and conduct of real-world evidence studies including observational, prospective, and claims database studies, and knowledge of study analyses plans
Support in the design and execution of phase 3b and phase IV clinical studies, including informing clinical development plans and study designs to ensure differentiating and relevant outcomes are included addressing current and future needs
Build professional working relationships with Global, Region and key markets, facilitate best practice sharing between global and countries
Work effectively within the established corporate and industry compliance guidelines
Represent medical teams at advisory boards, outreach meetings at key institutions, and in interactions with KOLs
About you
Advanced degree in a scientific discipline (M.D., PhD or PharmD).
Experience in pipeline, clinical development and/or medical affairs on a global or regional level (commercial experience a plus).
4+ years of experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry or equivalent Immunology related experience.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a matrixed environment.
Experience working collaboratively and cross-functionally with medical, global brand teams, market research, sales, managed markets, sales operations, business development, regulatory, research & development, manufacturing, finance and legal and to effectively collaborate with regional and/or affiliate medical to ensure regional activities are executed in alignment with global medical strategy and ensuring the insights and needs from them are known and properly addressed.
