Sr Quality Control Specialist




Canonsburg, PA



Contract Position




$32.81-$35.81/Hour



Contribute to a company at the forefront of mission-critical systems and technologies in defense and security. This leader in global defense integrates advanced technology to deliver information and insights on the battlefield, offering roles that support security and technological superiority across multiple domains.




Responsibilities:

• Gather inputs from stakeholders, summarize key information, and provide constructive feedback to support decision-making processes.


• Compare defects against established standards and recommend appropriate dispositions.


• Review and disposition QA documentation, including IDRs and DNs.


• Verify the implementation of corrective actions to resolve quality issues.


• Participate in and assist with performing audits to ensure compliance with standards.

Qualifications:

• 
  Education: Bachelor's degree in a related specialized area and 5+ years of relevant experience; or Master's degree and 3+ years of relevant experience.


• Certifications in J-STD_001, 002, IPC 610, MIL-STD-883, or NASA standards are preferred and may be required within 30 days of hire.


• Proficient knowledge of basic electrical or mechanical technology, ESD control, workmanship standards, and drawing interpretation.


• Ability to conduct process audits effectively.
