As a part of the Data Analytics function at Cribl, you will lead a team of data professionals dedicated to supporting our Product, Customer Experience, Support, and Engineering teams. You will oversee the business intelligence system, data analysis, and data strategy, playing a critical role in driving data-informed decision-making and fostering a culture of analytics excellence. As An Active Member Of Our Team, You Will ...

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of data analysts, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
  • Prioritize ad-hoc and planned cross-functional work, execute on planning through creation of a roadmap, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality analytics work by allocating resources effectively.
  • Translate high-level business goals into actionable team objectives and individual contributions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand their business needs and serve as a bridge between senior leadership and the team, ensuring alignment on priorities and organizational vision.
  • Standardize the team's operations (e.g. workflows, documentation) and improve key team metrics (e.g. data quality, stakeholder satisfaction)
  • Scale our data technology stack by managing data sets into our data warehouse, creating meaningful data transformations, and making data available in our BI tool

If You Got It - We Want It

    • 3+ years of experience managing a data team, demonstrating strong decision-making capabilities that balance the needs of the business and the team. Ideally, specializing in product data and partnering closely with stakeholders to define and execute a strategic roadmap for technical initiatives.
    • Strong communication and organization skills, with experience leading multiple projects simultaneously and balancing short-term deliverables with long-term strategic initiatives.
    • Excels in collaborative environments, engaging effectively with peers and stakeholders to achieve goals and actively participate in meetings.
    • Possesses a proactive and high degree of ownership, astutely identifying opportunities for improvement, driving new processes, and rallying the team to solutionize problems together. Especially adept at embracing change and resourcefully addressing problems that don't have clear solutions.
    • Proven ability to derive insights, conduct strategic analysis, and create clear and compelling data visualizations from large data sets across multiple sources.
    • Familiarity with the modern data tech stack (Snowflake, dbt e.g) and BI tools (Looker, Tableau, e.g). Advanced technical expertise in SQL, Python, data modeling, and building dashboards.

Salary Range ($168,000 - $210,000)


The salary for this role is dependent on geographic location. The salary offered within the range described will be based on the individual candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to a competitive salary, Cribl also offers a generous benefits package which includes health, dental, vision, short-term disability, and life insurance, paid holidays and paid time off, a fertility treatment benefit, 401(k), equity, and eligibility for a discretionary company-wide bonus.
