The Department of Art at Colby College invites applications for a one-year teaching position in photography at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor beginning Fall 2025. A completed M.F.A., teaching experience at the college level, and a significant record of creative scholarship are required. The search committee is especially interested in candidates who, through their research, teaching, and/or service, will contribute to the diversity and excellence of the campus community. Teaching load of 2/2 will consist of two sections of analog photography, one section of color and digital photography, and one advanced course. The successful candidate will teach in excellent professional facilities on the top floor of the Colby Museum of Art's Alfond-Lunder Family Pavilion.
A completed M.F.A., teaching experience at the college level, and a significant record of creative scholarship are required.
