The Cyber Operations and Resilience (CORe) Program at Boise State University invites applications for a Lecturer 1 position who has industry experience in the field of cybersecurity and cyber operations.
We seek a candidate with a strong commitment to excellence in online teaching to support the asynchronous online CORe courses as part of certificates, BS/BAS Cyber Operations and Resilience, and MS Cyber Operations and Resilience degrees which were launched in the Fall of 2021. All of our courses have been professionally developed and are delivered via Canvas. This is a non-tenure track position. The successful candidate will teach at least two courses per semester. They will also help with curriculum development and redesign. The chosen candidate will have the opportunity to be creative and help create new classes for the CORe program, using their industry experience. Faculty in the CORe program work very closely with students and mentor them in different capacities.
While this position supports students and faculty in an online environment, we do ask that candidates applying for this position be willing to relocate to Boise, ID in order to fulfill campus and industry partner needs locally.
Desired start date is February 24, 2025 (Negotiable). Courses operate in 7-week cycles and the successful candidate could start in either 1st or 2nd 7-week session of Spring Semester.
