• Accurately estimate the cost, time, material, labor, and equipment of mechanical systems
• Review bid documents and proposal specifications and drawings to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate.
• Attend pre-bid meetings
• Prepare discipline estimates by calculating complete takeoff of scope of work
• Review design options and recommend best solution based on cost, engineering quality, or availability of materials as needed.

• Excellent communication, organization, time management, and prioritization skills
• Ability to handle multiple projects and work in a dynamic and high-pressure environment
• Maintain strict confidentiality in performance of all duties
• Must be able to work cooperatively and maintain a positive and professional manner
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems
• Advanced computer and math skills
• Must be team-oriented, cost-conscious, and customer-driven
