Environmental, social, and governance (ESG) Controllership is a new team within the Corporate Financial Reporting function, which is responsible for technical accounting, mergers and acquisition accounting, consolidation accounting, and external financial reporting.

Reporting to the ESG Controller, your role will be key to ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness in ESG reporting delivery while driving efficiency through the effective use of Workiva's reporting platform. This role requires strong expertise in financial, regulatory, and ESG reporting frameworks, along with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills. You will collaborate with subject matter experts in areas including: climate change, pollution, resource use and circular economy, own workforce, workers in the value chain, affected communities, consumers and end users, business conduct, and others.
What you will do:
Lead the composition and submission of ESG related reports, regulatory filings and disclosures, ensuring alignment with industry standards and legal requirements
Serve as the ESG reporting lead, demonstrating Workiva capabilities for data collection, collaboration and reporting across multiple collaborator groups
Develop expertise on ESG trends, frameworks, regulatory requirements to help inform operational plans, reporting philosophies, and metrics
Serve as the ESG data subject matter authority, helping ensure that functional data adheres to regulatory and ESG policy requirements
Provide training and support to cross-functional team members on Workiva's tools and features
Manage reporting timelines to ensure deliverables meet internal and external requirements
Education:
Required: Undergraduate degree preferably in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Information Systems
Desired: CPA (or equivalent), active or inactive license
Experience
Required: 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably with complex, multinational enterprises
Required: Experience with US GAAP, SEC, or other regulatory reporting
Required: Internal controls over financial and/or regulatory reporting
Desired: Experience using Workiva for report preparation and submission
Desired: Experience with the ESG reporting regimes
