Job Description:

Job Functions


  • Manage multiple manufacturing projects simultaneously utilizing contemporary project management tools and practices from approval through hyper care.

  • Coordinate and influence cross-functional partners from engineering, operations, finance, HR/EHS, procurement, quality, commercial, IT, and risk management.

  • Develop and facilitate project plans, progress trackers, status reporting and cadences.

  • Manage deliverables as defined in the project's scope and monitor project progress and adjust as needed to meet deadlines and project goals.

  • Lead project meetings including scheduling and developing meeting agendas and managing meeting notes and follow-up items.

  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.

  • Ensure prompt and accurate communication regarding project status and deliverables is provided to project stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance project team environment that promotes a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

  • Conduct post-project evaluations and implement improvements for future projects.

  • Use tools to digitize and organize work (eg. Microsoft suite of tools).

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.

  • Maintain industry, professional and technical knowledge by networking, attending industry events, and reviewing professional publications.

  • Overnight travel up to 50% of the time may be required with frequency dependent on project activities and deliverables, valid driver's license needed.

Education & Experience


  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in business, operations, supply chain, communication, or related field.

  • At least four years' prior project management experience required, preferably in a mid to large enterprise matrixed manufacturing organization

  • PMP certification or equivalent is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities


  • Knowledge of project management and process improvement principles, practices, and tools

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and technology

  • Knowledge of and ability to identify a problem and use a disciplined approach to successfully resolve

  • Ability to form and maintain cross-functional relationships and lead by influence

  • Ability to maintain a high attention to detail while working with a sense of urgency

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

  • Ability to gather, interpret and simplify large amounts of data and translate to action

  • Strong written, verbal, and persuasive communication and facilitation skills

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office software products, including Teams, Excel, Power Point, Visio, and Word

  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment


  • Primarily works in a manufacturing plant setting with a blend of on-site and flexible remote office work

  • Overnight travel up to 50% of the time may be required with frequency dependent on project activities and deliverables
