Position Summary:
As a Lead Commercial Strategist, you will spearhead pricing initiatives and develop comprehensive commercial strategies. Your role involves analyzing market trends, optimizing pricing models, and executing strategic plans to drive revenue growth. You will also manage product life cycles, ensuring successful and sustained performance. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will ensure alignment with business objectives and enhance competitive positioning in the market. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, financial acumen, and the ability to work harmoniously across departments.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
Develop and Implement Pricing Strategies: Analyze market trends and competitive pricing to create effective pricing models that maximize profitability.
Commercial Strategy Development: Formulate and execute comprehensive commercial strategies to drive revenue growth and market share.
Product Life Cycle Management: Work with Sales and Product teams to develop and implement product life cycle management strategies.
Market Analysis and Insights: Conduct thorough market research to identify opportunities and threats, providing actionable insights.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, finance, and product teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and strategic goals.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of pricing and commercial strategies, adjusting as necessary.
Sales Training and Support: Train sales teams on using pricing tools effectively to ensure accurate and competitive quoting
Develop process and best practices to sustain and continuously improve price management

Qualifications
Education and Experience
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field is preferred.
Experience:
4-5 years of experience in pricing strategy, commercial strategy, or a related field.
Proven track record of developing and implementing successful pricing and commercial strategies.
Experience in product life cycle management and market analysis.
Demonstrated ability to train and support sales teams in using pricing tools.
