Our client in Columbia, MD, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support their dynamic team. This role is 100% on site at their location in Columbia, Maryland. As the Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for handling a variety of administrative tasks, including managing schedules, handling phone inquiries, maintaining records, and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to the team, including managing calendars and scheduling appointments
Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and inquiries
Organize and maintain office filing systems, both physical and digital
Prepare and proofread documents, reports, and correspondence
Coordinate meetings and events, ensuring all logistics are arranged
Assist with data entry and managing databases
Order and maintain office supplies
Assist with other office duties as needed
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree preferred)
1-2 years of administrative experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accuracy
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
