Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Legal Secretary to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. This role involves providing high-level administrative support to attorneys and legal professionals, ensuring the smooth operation of the legal office.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Support: Prepare and edit legal documents, including correspondence, contracts, pleadings, and court filings, with precision and attention to detail.
Case Management: Maintain case files, track important deadlines, and assist with managing litigation schedules.
Client Interaction: Serve as a point of contact for clients, schedule meetings, and handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism.
Court Filings: File legal documents electronically and in person, ensuring compliance with court deadlines and procedures.
Research Assistance: Conduct basic legal research and compile information for attorneys as needed.
Billing and Record Keeping: Assist with billing processes, track billable hours, and maintain accurate records of expenses and correspondence.
General Office Duties: Answer phones, handle mail, and maintain office supplies.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Legal Secretary or similar role in a law firm or legal department.

Strong understanding of legal terminology, processes, and documentation.
