We are seeking a proactive, strategic attorney passionate about employment defense litigation. This role involves managing high-level cases, engaging with sophisticated clients, and collaborating within a dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate thrives in court, excels at case management, and enjoys working both independently and within a collaborative team environment. Key Responsibilities:
Lead employment litigation cases from initiation to resolution.
Represent clients during court appearances as needed.
Conduct regular client meetings and provide direct representation.
Advise clients on employment law matters, including discrimination, leave policies, and compliance.
Establish and pursue professional development goals collaboratively.
Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in employment defense litigation.
Jury trial experience strongly preferred.
Skill Set:
Strong litigation and courtroom skills.
Ability to manage and delegate tasks effectively to junior associates and staff.
High emotional intelligence with a strong client service focus.
Collaborative, team-oriented, and humble.
A book of business is not required but is welcomed.
Senior-level candidates will be considered for a partnership track and succession planning.
Compensation and Benefits:
Salary: $175,000 - $230,000 (DOE)
Bonuses: Discretionary, tied to firm profitability
