Established Tax, Audit and Advisory CPA Firm hiring a Director of Excise & Tax Director with a goal of becoming Partner.
Educational Background: CPA with MBT (MST) or CPA/JD/LLM.
Professional Experience: Over 8 years of experience, predominantly in regional, national, or Big 4 CPA firms.
Technical Expertise:
Proven ability to review and perform compliance for estate tax and fiduciary income tax returns.
Skilled in interpreting wills and trusts related to estate and fiduciary tax matters.
Leadership & Mentorship:
Demonstrates a progressive record of promotions.
Successful in mentoring and developing staff toward leadership roles.
Client Advocacy:
Experienced in defending clients during IRS audits, achieving positive outcomes.
Relationship Development: Proven track record of building and sustaining strong relationships within the firm and with external clients.
Technical Proficiency: Expertise with software for estate tax returns, estate planning, trust accounting, and income tax compliance.
