Law Firm Courier at Beacon Hill Staffing Group, LLC in Charleston, South Carolina

Job Description:

Beacon Hill Legal is partnering with a large law firm client that is seeking a full-time Courier to join their Charleston, SC office.


The Courier will be responsible for providing efficient delivery services for packages, mail, and supplies within a designated area and will assist with other office functions as needed.



Key Responsibilities:

• Provide prompt and reliable courier services for firm personnel within a designated area


• Accurately record courier service expenses and assign them to the appropriate client matter or internal accounting codes


• Obtain signatures for hand-delivered packages


• Communicate effectively with attorneys and staff regarding delivery services


• Assist with maintaining office security by monitoring the parking area and ensuring it is free of debris


• Support Office Services with light housekeeping duties during non-delivery times


• Maintain the personal vehicle used for deliveries, ensuring it is in safe and legal working condition


• Comply with all safety regulations, traffic laws, and local ordinances related to driving


• Perform other related duties as assigned


• Regular, in-person attendance is required for this hands-on role

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle for making deliveries


• Ability to lift 10-25 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally


• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions


• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact professionally with staff and attorneys
