The Electronics and Software Team develops custom electronic controllers (hardware and software) that are used to develop, test and demonstrate HVAC concepts / systems using MAHLE HVAC related components. When appropriate this team will support the production implementation of these custom implementations. The team also supports electrical component analysis.
Electrical Engineer(s) design and develop electrical and electronic solutions for implementing automotive refrigeration, cooling and HVAC systems. These systems involve use of in-house custom electronic controllers, sensors, motors, communication busses and electrical components. The resultant solutions are used to provide the ability to control electrical-mechanical based systems so they can deliver comfortable conditioned air into the vehicle's passenger cabin, thermal control of critical system components and help maintain clear outward vision.
Develop schematics for electronic controllers and wire harnesses.
Maintain Schematic Capture Part Libraries
Design PCBs
Co-ordination of PCB builds with outside supplier.
Fabricate electronic control boxes and wire harnesses.
Troubleshoot electronic and electrical issues.
Help maintain parts crib and electronics lab.
Support the analysis of purchased electrical components used on our products.
