Job Description:

OBJECTIVE
Apply principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports.

REPORTS TO

Finance Director

STATUS

Full-time (40 hours per week)

SCHEDULE

Monday - Thursday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Friday 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. Schedule may vary.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Modern accounting and auditing principles


• Experience with accounting software


• Proficient in Microsoft Excel


• Excellent written and verbal communication


• Excellent organizational skills


• Pleasant, cooperative, caring attitude


• The ability to work with a team to set and achieve common goals

EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS/EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance.


• Typical qualifications would be equivalent to: Bachelor’s degree with major course work in accounting.


• Significant experience in accounting, preferably medical.

PHYSICAL ABILITIES

• Able to sit for extended periods of time


• Reach and stoop to file levels


• Answer telephone


• Operate PC using keyboard


• Good vision for close work with numbers


• Use keyboard for extended periods of time


• Lift up to 50 pounds
