Sidwell is recruiting for a remote-based position of GIS Solutions Manager. If you have a solid background in building and leading high performing service delivery teams plus a passion for Esri technology let’s have a conversation.
This critical position will provide leadership and assistance to our GIS Solutions team, ensure the timely and profitable completion of projects as well as leading our advances with Esri technology. A successful candidate should be comfortable managing a team while also having your own projects to deliver on while adhering to deadlines and monthly revenue targets.
The GIS Solutions Manager will be customer focused, results-driven, have strong connections within the technology community, and can manage small teams to deliver services revenue. Sidwell is committed to providing our customers with the most encompassing GIS solutions in the industry.
A deep understanding of Esri technology, solutions, and concepts is required along with an inquisitive and driven mindset to be the best.
Responsibilities:
Establish clear, measurable objectives for the GIS Solutions team, monitor & measure these objectives regularly, providing coaching as required.
Working closely with Esri technology and reporting the latest Esri innovations and technical direction to the leadership team to help drive growth
Resource scheduling to ensure project coverage
Meet monthly revenue goals and work with upper management on performance to forecast.
Analyze current implementation processes and develop improved methodologies.
Assist Sales with scoping, sizing and estimating efforts for opportunities
Be a point of escalation for customers
You’re a good fit for this role if you have:
A minimum of 2 years leading people in a services-based organization
A minimum of 5 years professional experience in GIS
Understanding of Esri GIS technologies and concepts including:
ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Solutions and Applications
Experience in publishing and administering ArcGIS Server services
Has successfully built and configured Esri applications or solutions with Esri Field Maps, Survey123, and Experience Builder
Proficiency in upgrading and transitioning to new versions of Esri technology, including Web AppBuilder to Experience Builder conversions, ArcGIS Enterprise upgrades, and other related Esri products.
Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server and an understanding of database design and administration
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
A collaborative, team-oriented work style paired with the ability to work independently, troubleshoot, and problem solve in a fast-paced environment.
