Our Customer Service and Sales Administrators assist internal and external customers in facilitating the sale department goals and maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction with all interactions.



Responsibilities

  • Assist customers in the showroom with product knowledge and demonstrations with a high service level and professionalism.
  • Handle phoned-in, emailed, faxed and walked-in orders from customers by keying them into our ordering system.
  • Pursue all customer inquiries and develop "New Leads" for the sales team.
  • Research and resolve customer problems accurately and efficiently.
  • Assist company Account Consultants by phone and in person. Communicate regularly with them regarding customer pricing, problems or requests.
  • Provide a high standard of efficiency, accuracy and courtesy to all customers and WAXIE employees.
  • Continually enhance product and service knowledge.
  • Maintain a high standard of professionalism and grooming. Keep desks and customer service area neat and orderly.
  • Open and close cash register as directed. Comply with all cash handling procedures and policies, i.e., TeleCheck, bank card authorizations and cash transactions.
  • Type correspondence, memos, proposals, bids, flyers, lists, forms, and special projects for the assigned Account Consultants.
  • Create spreadsheets according to Account Consultants’ needs.
  • Produce reports for the sales department and account consultants as needed.
  • Act as a liaison with Account Consultants, Contract Services Department, Marketing, Purchasing, etc.
  • Web@work administrator, setting up new users, shopping lists, and maintaining information
  • Set up new accounts and coordinate with the home office on new account tracking
  • Email customers updates, quotes, bids, etc.
  • Maintain literature rack.
  • All other duties as assigned.


Qualifications



  • Previous customer oriented experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to learn WAXIE products and services
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous AS400 experience is preferred
  • Computer literate (Microsoft office experience preferred)
  • Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Excellent attention to detail with good organizational skills
  • Ability to work well in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to interact with external and internal customers via phone, email or in person in a professional manner
  • Strong ability to make quick and informed decisions
  • Excellent attendance record
  • Positive attitude
  • Ability to safely lift and carry 50 lbs
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
