Job Description:

We are hiring for a full-time position within our Facilities team at our Stevens Point location. In this position you will primarily work Monday-Friday  3pm-11pm. 


The pay for this position is $18.70/hr. + $1/hr. shift incentive.


Position Summary:


Provide safety, service and security functions at the Stevens Point campus. Responsible for monitoring the operational status of support equipment and backup systems. Must also respond to possible medical and fire emergency situations and direct any unscheduled traffic.


Position Overview:



  • Maintain physical surveillance of the complex.

  • Record any incidents/safety violations that occur in a timely and documented fashion.

  • Provide liaison with local law enforcement agencies, fire department, emergency medical personnel, and other Lands' End departments.

  • Responsible for opening and closing buildings.

  • Monitor the operational status of essential support equipment and any deviation to proper personnel.

  • Maintain good community relations.

  • Provide employee assistance (i.e. jump starts, escorts).

  • Assist with fire and tornado evacuations and severe weather procedures.

  • Operation of snow removal equipment.

  • Cover Receptionist’s lunches and breaks.


Required Skills:



  • Must be able to work second shift consistently with the ability to be able to work weekends, and holidays when needed, and OT when necessary.

  • The physical, mental and emotional capacity to perform the assigned duties.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.

  • Strong human relations and communication skills and the ability to keep sensitive information confidential.

  • Possess a valid WI driver’s license and excellent driving record.

  • The ability to guide Lands’ End personnel in an emergency situation.


 


Physical Requirements:



  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
