Position Summary:

• Oversee and assists the line technician in the maintenance and operation of production and support equipment

• Monitor, train and motivate shift line techs.

• Report disciplinary problems to management.

• Oversee and maintain all engineering floor equipment. Report equipment problems to management.

• Assists with additional work duties or responsibilities as evident or required.

• Performs other duties as assigned or apparent

Primary Accountabilities

• Oversee, monitor, train, motivate and support line tech personnel. Filling in for lunches or absences • Ensures proper maintenance and repair of down equipment.

• Reports disciplinary and equipment problems to management.

• May be required to monitor utility systems throughout the site

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Engineering degree or 8-10+ years equivalent experience • Prior electrical/electronic/mechanical experience required.

• Previous Line Technician experience preferred.

• Previous experience with B/F/S or Packaging equipment a plus

• Leadership skills a plus. Must have working knowledge of power transmission, hydraulics, pneumatic systems, vacuum systems, electric motors, belt drive systems, linear motion systems, and Blow/Fill/Seal systems.

• Specific expertise, skills and knowledge within engineering gained through education and experience.

• The ability to take strategic objectives and accept accountability to drive results through effective actions.

• The ability and willingness to change direction and focus to meet shifting organizational and business demands.

• The ability to create and contribute environment that values people, encourages trust, teamwork, and open communication, and provides participation, learning, feedback and recognition.

• Position requires reaching (waist to overhead), bending (waist to floor), climbing (floor to ceiling), lifting (up to 50 lbs), vision (20/20), good hearing, standing (50% of shift time),crawling, sitting, gripping, talking and walking (50% of shift time). Exposed to the environmental factor of heat.

• Incumbents are required to comply with proper gowning requirements and other non-specified protective equipment as necessary.

• Incumbents may be required to wear safety glasses, hearing protection, bouffant, and laboratory coats and other non-specified protective equipment as necessary.

• Rotating shift work will be required. Shift assignment may be adjusted as needed.

• Salary range: Based on experience.

• Available for on-call per managements request.
