JOB TITLE: Financial Analyst - Program Finance/Financial Planning and Analysis - R25-001

JOB OVERVIEW:

We are looking for a Financial Professional who can leverage their experience to help in key functional areas:

Program Finance:

Support all financial aspects of customer and internal programs from inception to closeout including, but not limited to, project setup and maintenance in Unanet, internal and external program reporting, invoicing, revenue recognition, cost and profit margin monitoring, etc.

Financial Planning and Analysis:

  • Responsible for preparation and interpretation of a number monthly and ad hoc financial reports.
  • Prepare budgets and monitor budget actual performance
  • Monitor indirect rates against plan
  • Responsible for various forecasts, presentations, briefings and other financial requirements

JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Set up and maintain customer programs in Unanet
  • Prepare monthly reporting for customer and internal programs
  • Prepare customer invoices
  • Monitor all program related activities such as unbilled, deferred revenue, A/R, customer payment status, etc.
  • Prepare monthly reporting package
  • Prepare cash forecasts
  • Prepare, monitor and forecast indirect rates
  • Prepare budgets and monitor performance throughout the year
  • Prepare required financial presentations and briefings
  • Ad hoc reporting and analyses

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline
  • Experience with government contract accounting
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Team player and must possess good interpersonal skills
  • Five to ten years of financial experience

Security Clearance:

  • Clearance is not required at hire but candidate must be clearable

DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with Unanet or other government accounting system
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Self-directed and flexible with daily activities

WORK LOCATION: Dulles, VA

  • This is not a remote work position
  • Hours are 830 to 5
