The Rapid Admin Service Request (RASR) system is a UNC internal system to aid processing units in the receiving and processing of all types of transactions including but not limited to Vouchers, Journals, Travel, and Requisitions. This tool currently includes over 25,000 transactions for the UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center. This position will be solely responsible for providing technical, advisory, and financial management for purchasing of non-asset supplies over $5,000 and other necessary areas. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, providing strategic oversight of all RASR request and updates, developing and delivering a vigorous set of training materials, maintaining service agreements in their entirety, and ensuring applicable university guidelines and proper departmental guidelines are followed.
Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related discipline; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Work independently; possess strong communication skills (written and oral); advanced excel skills; strong organizational skills, have the ability to appropriately prioritize work; demonstrated ability to apply appropriate judgment to resolve problems; and the ability to complete tasks in a timely manner with attention to detail.
Financial records, contract management, and/or purchasing experience. Work independently, ability to clearly communicate appropriately to others, demonstrated ability to apply judgement to resolve problems, and have advanced excel skills. PeopleSoft experience is a plus.
