A problem solver with an Associate's degree and 1-3 years of experience (or equivalent).
Knowledge of AV systems (control systems, displays, video conferencing solutions) and a knack for troubleshooting.
Tech-savvy with experience in AV programming, network integration, and computer-aided design tools (like AutoCAD).
A team player who thrives on collaboration and brings excellent communication skills.
Physical readiness to tackle installations-think climbing ladders, navigating tight spaces, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Bonus Points for:
Experience in academic settings or advanced certifications like AVIXA CTS, CTS-D, or CTS-I.
A passion for staying ahead of trends in AV and educational technologies like active learning spaces and collaboration tools.

Required Qualifications - Education and Yrs Exp:
Associates plus 2-3 years' experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Qualifications - Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Associate's degree with 1-3 or more years of relevant work experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
In-depth knowledge of audiovisual technologies, including AV control systems, projectors, displays, audio systems, and video conferencing solutions.
Experience in AV control system programming (e.g., Crestron) and network integration.
Proficiency in IT networks.
Familiarity with computer-aided design programs (e.g., AutoCAD).
Knowledge of scripting languages.
Ability to adapt to changing technology landscapes and stay updated on industry trends.
Familiarity with AV project phases and timelines.
Experience with endpoint management concepts and tools.
Physical capability to lift at least 50 lbs., climb ladders, navigate tight spaces, and use power tools.
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with faculty, staff, technical teams, and clients, as well as problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities for integrated AV systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in an Academic environment.
Familiarity with educational technology trends, such as active learning spaces, flipped classrooms, and online collaboration tools.
Advanced AV manufacturer and industry certifications (e.g., QSC Level II, Dante Level III, AVIXA CTS, CTS-D, or CTS-I, etc.).
Advanced Audio DSP knowledge and skills.
Familiarity with software development lifecycles.
Experience programming in one or more languages.
Familiarity with ITSM (Information Technology Service Management) tools and methodologies.
