SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Quality designee, the Quality Coordinator performs coordination and preparation of inspection and compliance documentation such as source inspections, end item data packages (EIDP), and first article inspection report (FAIR).
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
* Initiates and prepares documentation for finished goods, First Article Inspection Report (FAIR), customer source inspection with collaboration from Quality Control
* Prepares data packages for production units and, when applicable, uploads test data and records to customer specific websites.
* Reviews customer purchase orders for documentation requirements to ensure compliance.
* Coordinates monthly Source Inspections with Production Planning.
* Uploads First Article Reports on customer-specific websites.
* Reviews production orders and corresponding sales orders for First Article and Source Inspection requirements to determine if new or delta FAIRs are required.
* Prepares FAIR plans and completes FAIR forms using production/inspection data and vendor certifications as required.
* Reviews quality documentation for completeness and accuracy.
* Manages timely revision, review, and release of quality documents including Procedures, Work Instructions, Standard Works, Specifications, and Policies.
* Maintain Quality department files.
* Complete work according to shipment schedule priorities.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
As part of their job duties, the employee must sit for lengthy periods while operating a computer. They frequently use their hands to type, handle objects, and communicate verbally. Additionally, they may need to stand, walk, reach, and occasionally lift objects weighing up to twenty (20) pounds. This role requires lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching overhead, reaching at or below shoulder level, and keyboarding. PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS
* ASTM F-2412-2005, ANSI Z41-1999, or ANSI Z41-1991 rated safety toe shoes in specific areas.
* Clear ANSI Z87.1 safety-rated glasses in specific areas.
* Hearing protection in specific locations.
* Ability to compile with JSA in specific areas.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
* High school education or equivalent; two-year technical degree preferred
* Two (2+) years of relevant experience within a manufacturing environment
* Experience with AS9100 or ISO9000 regulations preferred

Typically 2+ years' experience in manufacturing quality systems or equivalent
Coordinator II
Typically at least 3-4 years' experience in manufacturing quality systems or equivalent. Able to support multiple areas of inspection.
*Progression is directly based on proficiency in various quality documentation preparations/reviews of all related areas.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
* ASQ Certification preferred.
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
* Conversational in any other language is a plus.
