Marina facility professional with exceptional customer service and business organizing skills needed to administer our marina operations, while assisting the team with safe towing and dock operations. Must have a friendly and accommodating demeanor and be able to multi-task and prioritize requests and operational procedures while listening to and understanding customer needs with a reassuring style that exudes professionalism and integrity.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Greets customers in person and/or on the radio with proper radio etiquette.
Provides prompt accurate statements to customers and assures all accounts receivable are up to date prior to departure.
Manages accounts receivables for marina customers
Manages schedule of arrivals and departures and maintains accuracy through leads and outlook software systems to include scheduling of staff, execution and completion
Will assist marina leader with inquires via telephone, mail, e-mail or in person and has a thorough knowledge of facility rates, rules and policies.
Performs captain duties on tugs to provide all necessary towing services.
When needed secures vessels properly in assigned slip, safely and without damage to vessel, dock, others or self.
Ensure that all customers understand safe boating practices in and around the marina, in order to prevent accidents, Haz-mat spills, etc.
Cleans up facility and docks of debris and assists in maintenance of marina facility when available.
Fuel vessels and fills out daily fuel report sheet. (Meters, inventory, sales)
Performs pump outs on vessels and vessel fuelling’s.
Manages the Maintenance and operation marina docks ( fuel system, pump outs) to include scheduling of staff, execution and completion
Intermediate software proficiency using Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
Strong English communication skills, verbally and in writing
Must be accurate in record keeping, for dockage, fuel, pump-outs, maintenance.

Must hold a USCG 100 ton masters license with towing endorsement and have 5 years plus yacht towing experience
Must have a valid Florida driver’s license and safe driving record in order to drive company vehicles.
Must be energetic and have ability to move hoses and equipment up to 75lbs., be capable of pulling and pushing and be able to crawl into bilges and under docks as required for maintenance and repairs.
Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions including storms, high winds, rain, heat and extreme sun.
Must be neat and presentable, and very personable, polite and reliable in dealing with customers.
Must be able to respond to environmental spills and clean ups within the limits of your training.
Must have a high degree of care and attention to ensure that our customers receive the attention that goes beyond what we offer.
Training in Hazardous waste
Have sales/ hospitality experience
Certified scuba diver
3 - 5 years experience in Marina Operations; Superyacht experience is a plus.
Captain's License; towing experience is a required
Safety and Environmental Responsibilities
Follow SHM Safety and Environmental rules and complete required related training
Wear proper personal protective equipment (may include safety glasses, gloves, life jackets and/or hard hats) as required for the task or work area
Report all accidents, injuries, spills and near misses immediately
Technical and Physical Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
2-5 years’ marina experience preferred
Ability to work safely around the water
Must be able to swim
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Basic boat handling skills preferred
Knowledge of dock construction and repair preferred
Knowledge of basic power tools preferred
