Position Summary:
The Project Control Specialist will assume a pivotal role in overseeing and managing critical financial aspects and administrative tasks essential for the seamless operation of projects. This includes meticulous management of financial records, ensuring compliance with project budgets, and facilitating efficient project administration to support overall project success.
Essential Functions:
Create and update monthly billing worksheets for all jobs using Excel.
Maintain and update the monthly billing spreadsheet for senior management, ensuring accurate and timely billing (shared with PMs).
Set up new jobs, including adding tasks and entering job codes per Project Manager requests in Excel.
Enter Pre Liens for all new jobs through an online portal.
Update vendor/sub pre liens upon receipt, ensuring appropriateness for the project, consistency with budget values, completing the necessary portions, and returning to the requestor.
Assist Project Managers with Time and Equipment (T&E) billing in Excel, supporting the Project Manager with the creation of these billings.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required in Business with an Accounting background.
Competencies:

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.
Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization’s hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
