Position Summary
The Compliance Officer – Fair and Responsible Banking is responsible for assisting the VP, Fair and Responsible Banking with the implementation and ongoing administration of the Bank’s Fair & Responsible Banking program, including both fair lending and UDAAP oversight. The position will focus on fair banking testing (fair lending and UDAAP), including but not limited to: comparative file reviews, policy and procedure reviews, and analysis of first line monitoring results.
What You’ll Do
Perform fair lending comparative file reviews and other targeted fair banking risk reviews for consumer, small business and/or mortgage products.
Assist the VP, Fair and Responsible Banking in providing subject matter expertise to both the compliance team and business lines regarding fair lending and UDAAP risk related to comparative file review results. Advise as needed regarding required corrective action. Assist with training as needed.
Assist the team in analyzing compliance and business line monitoring results to identify factors that may contribute to elevated risk, as well as identification of improvements or additional monitoring needed for adequate risk identification.
Assist in the oversight of fair lending and other applicable risk assessments.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience related to financial services compliance.
Fair lending or UDAAP compliance experience preferred.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
CRCM preferred.
