Arabic Translation Instructor - Online (Tu/Sa, PM) at ICA Language Services in Arlington, Virginia

Job Description:

ICA is currently seeking an online Arabic Translation Instructor.  The candidates should have at least two years of experience teaching the target language translation in a proficiency-oriented environment to adult students on an intensive basis.

Job Details:

• Period of performance: 12/24/24 - 1/7/25
  


• Training days: Tuesdays & Saturdays
  


• Schedule: 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm EST
  


• Training type: translation course
  


• Number of students: 1
  


• Rate: $41-$43 (inclusive of prep time)


• The training program will include homework activities and should focus on developing language skills such as: speaking, listening, reading, writing, vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and culture.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Two years of full-time experience teaching adult students


• Bachelor’s degree in related field


• Native speaker of the French language


• Teaching experience with Zoom online platform preferred.
