Job Description:
- Advocate for the user, ensuring a shared understanding of the problems we are solving. Be the voice of the user in prioritization, new products, and features.
- Learn from and support the UI Design System, improving components incrementally.
- Lead discussions and critiques of work, solicit requirements from stakeholders, and be a key partner in delivering our mission.
- Serve as a key resource on complex and critical issues.
- Actively engage in team culture and contribute to learning and presentation opportunities across the design organization.
- Anticipate customer needs and proactively develop solutions.
- Provide design recommendations based on technical feasibility, usability findings, accessibility (A11y), legal, and design best practices.
- Maintain a design culture of simple, seamless interfaces and components.
- Review work performed by others and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Authorize deviations from current standards based on analytics or evidence-based observations.
- May lead functional or segment teams or projects.
- Motivate and inspire other team members.
Required Skills:
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with information architecture, interaction design, UX design, or graphic design.
- 4+ years of experience working with multiple teams and competing priorities.
- 4+ years of incorporating user feedback in the design process (user research, NPS, Voice of the Customer).
- 4+ years of experience with prominent industry design tools (Figma, Figjam, Adobe Creative Suite, Axure).
- 2+ years of experience working in cross-functional teams.
- 2+ years of experience building and/or utilizing personas to inform design decisions.
- 2+ years of experience presenting to stakeholders.
Desired Skills:
- Proven track record of driving change in a large, complex matrixed environment, even amid ambiguous circumstances.
- Bias toward action and innovative big-picture thinking while improving processes and optimizing operations.
- Experience working in healthcare.
- Excellent resource management skills.
