This includes creating and implementing specific account and/or segment based sales strategies and tactical plans. Production results will be monitored and adjusted to current market conditions to stay nimble and react advantageously to competitors

    • Operational/Functional:

    
    

    • Develop new accounts, maintain existing accounts, and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue goals and maximize profits for the hotel while maintaining guest satisfaction.

    
    

    • Achieve budgeted revenues, sales goals, and maximize profitability within all areas of responsibility.

    
    

    • Develop and maintain market awareness to ensure ability to predict revenue opportunities, develop marketing plans and set new proactive strategies.

    
    

    • Prepare and present effective and persuasive presentations to prospective clients.

    
    

    • Maintain and develop networking opportunities through active participation in community and professional associations, activities and events.

    
    

    • Attend trade shows and major market events locally and nationally to promote new business and increase sales for the hotel.

    
    

    • Promote teamwork and quality service through daily effective communication and coordination with other departments.

    
    

    • Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.

    Physical Demands

    
    

    • The person in this role may be carrying, lifting or pulling items weighing up to 20lbs and pushing and / or pulling approximately 100lbs.

    
    

    • The person in this role will be frequently standing up, bending, climbing, kneeling and moving about the hotel.

    
    

    Expected Hours of Work

    
    

    • Must be flexible to a schedule based on group demand

    
    

    Travel

    
    

    • Up to 10% travel may be required.

    
    

    Education and Experience

    
    

    • Bachelor's degree in, Hospitality or related field preferred.

    
    

    • 4+ years of progressive experience in a hospitality or hotel Sales and Marketing setting.

    
    

    • Experience working with major hospitality brands preferred.
