The City of Hermitage is seeking a Maintenance Technician in the Water Pollution Control Department.
This position monitors control panels, adjusts valves, interprets meter readings, operates pumps, engines and generators to regulate and control the flow of sewage; operates and performs routine maintenance on equipment in the Food Waste to Energy Program and treatment plant equipment; assists with cleaning lines and manholes and operates inspection equipment.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid drivers license, and have some experience in a discipline such as electricity, plumbing, or HVAC.
Starting hourly wage is $24.00, increasing to $25.00 after one year. Excellent benefit package including healthcare, vision, dental, paid leave (vacation, holidays, personal days, sick days), life insurance, short-term disability plan, and pension plan.
