Schneider Electric has a great opportunity for a Data Analytics Intern in our Athens, TX facility during the Spring starting January of 2025. This on-site position requires the ideal candidate to be located in the general area. This will be a part-time position. No visa sponsorship or relocation will be provided for this role.

As a Data Analytics Intern, you will have the following responsibilities:


  • Assisting in the implementation and optimization of logistics automation solutions to streamline warehouse operations and enhance efficiency.

  • Analyzing data related to inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipment tracking to identify opportunities for process improvement.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate order processing, inventory control, and delivery.

  • Supporting the development and implementation of logistics and supply chain strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery performance.

  • Participating in projects to enhance logistics operations, such as warehouse layout optimization, transportation route optimization, and inventory optimization.

  • Assisting in the evaluation and selection of logistics technology and software solutions to support automation and digitalization initiatives.

  • Conducting research on industry best practices and trends in logistics automation and making recommendations for continuous improvement.


This position may be a good fit for you if:


  • You are pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • You have knowledge or experience in warehouse automation, logistics operations, and warehouse management systems.

  • You are proficient in using Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.

  • You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large datasets.

  • You are a proactive team player, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • You have a strong desire to learn and contribute to the field of logistics automation.
