Opportunity Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Cybersecurity Vigilance & Awareness Specialist to join our team. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing comprehensive cybersecurity awareness and training programs. This role will focus on enhancing the cybersecurity culture within the organization by executing targeted training for high-risk associates, specialized bootcamps, and awareness campaigns for emerging risks. The manager will also lead the execution of Cybersecurity Awareness Month and establish feedback avenues to continuously improve the cybersecurity posture of the organization. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cybersecurity, a strong background in change management communications, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts and help associates protect the organizations from cyberthreats.
Primary Responsibilities
Complete training strategy and develop multi-channel deployment communications to increase cybersecurity vigilance across the organization, using modular training videos, the company intranet, and the Learning Management System.
Develop ongoing cybersecurity awareness and training campaigns to educate associates about emerging cybersecurity risks and how to mitigate them.
Provide persona-based targeted training to high-risk groups to address cybersecurity risks associated with their roles.
Collaborate with Regional Cybersecurity Officers to complete phishing simulations and leverage technology to deliver meaningful feedback and relevant training modules to associates.
Develop and coordinate specialized cybersecurity training sessions, such as bootcamps, to enhance associates' cybersecurity skills.
Develop materials and manage events for Cybersecurity Awareness Month and ongoing initiatives to promote a strong cybersecurity culture across the organization.
Maintain feedback mechanisms to gather insights from associates on the effectiveness of cybersecurity training and awareness programs.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will bring a combination of cybersecurity knowledge, change management experience, and exceptional communication and analytical skills. In addition, the candidate should possess:
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field
3+ years proven experience in a cybersecurity vigilance role
Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, threats, and best practices
Knowledge of industry standards and frameworks (i.e., NIST Cybersecurity Framework 2.0)
Excellent communication, writing and presentation skills
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Strong organizational and project management skills
