The Opportunity
As a Laborer with Tradebe, you will be responsible for various tasks at the plant, including moving drums and supporting overall landfill operations.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Assist with container movements, process operations, housekeeping activities, and area inspections.
- Support area personnel in complying with all EH&S policies and regulations.
- Conduct daily area inspections.
- Operate waste handling equipment safely.
- Notify the Plant Supervisor, Operations Director, and other plant authorities in emergency situations.
- Take emergency action independently if in accordance with established procedures.
- Ensure compliance with the Facility's RCRA Permit.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Experience with operating a forklift and knowledge of the hazardous waste industry is a plus
- Ability to read, understand, and apply common operational documents, SOPs
- Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts; and the ability to define problems are required
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check is required
