Purpose of Job:
Assist walk-in customers, answer all incoming phone calls and efficiently dispatch hot-shot deliveries.
Job Components:
Handle All incoming phone calls in a professional manner and dispatch hot-shot request in the most timely and orderly fashion.
Schedule hot shot deliveries in a manner that will deliver the best and most efficient hot-shot service possible.
Wait on and handle all walk-in customers by providing each and every customer with courteous service and information to satisfy their battery need(s).
Handle and balance invoices generated.
Follow-up with largest customers weekly to ensure customer satisfaction and battery supply is adequate.
Qualifications:
High school graduate (or equivalent)
Able to read, write and compute basic math
Multi-line phone experience required.
Previous customer service experience is required.
Working knowledge of computers and applicable systems is required
Demonstrated ability to multi-task, quickly transitioning from one function/task to the next.
Demonstrates good organizational skills and can prioritize tasks
Works with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Approaches tasks with a sense of urgency
Must work effectively in a team environment
Must be familiar with local geographic area
Be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 lbs.
Scope Data:
Works under general supervision and guidance
Accountable for individual accuracy.
Shared responsibility for process flow of 1.0 - 13.0 million pieces shipped per year out of the warehouse
Work Environment:
Regularly required to use hands to grasp or handle, talk and hear, stand and walk.
Specific vision abilities include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Ability to lift and/or move 50+ lbs.
May be exposed to battery warehouse conditions such as exposure to moving equipment mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals.
