About the Role
As a Credentialing Coordinator, you will manage the credentialing process for providers, practices, and facilities, maintaining compliance with all regulatory and payor guidelines. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented professional who can thrive in a hybrid work environment, balancing independent tasks with team collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee credentialing and recredentialing processes, including data entry and submission tracking.
Maintain accurate profiles in payor portals and ensure all updates are completed promptly.
Collaborate with the Payor Relations team to resolve disputes and facilitate audits.
Support compliance efforts by aligning credentialing processes with government regulations and payor standards.
Provide timely updates and communication to internal and external stakeholders.
What You’ll Bring
Experience: At least 3 years in healthcare, with 1+ year in credentialing preferred.
Skills: Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and problem-solving mindset.
Technology: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with health plan portals (e.g., Availity, PECOS).
Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills for professional correspondence and documentation.
Mindset: Self-motivated, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
