Job Summary

The Sr. Specialist, New Client Onboarding is responsible for supporting all new client launches through executing strong customer-facing marketing in partnership with internal and external partners. They deliver best in class cardholder marketing campaigns and collateral that represents a strong and consistent brand voice.

Essential Job Functions


  • Acts as first line of defense, overseeing adherence to bank compliance standards related to capabilities and clients' omni-channel marketing materials. Acts as the voice of brand partners, finding opportunities for compliant creativity in marketing material design. Own the relationship with internal teams supporting collateral review. - (30%)

  • Coordinate marketing strategy kick-off with internal/external stakeholders. Represent the voice of the brand and ensure brand expectations are achieved through marketing strategy development. Maintain oversight to marketing fund investments in marketing campaigns to ensure delivery of strong and impactful results. Support creation of brand-facing launch marketing strategy presentations. - (25%)

  • Manage timelines and daily tasks for marketing campaigns and credit marketing collateral development. Review marketing collateral with focus on establishing brand identity and consistency. Hold all partners accountable to achieve timely delivery and on time credit card program launches for new business. - (20%)

  • Engage internal cross-channel marketing teams to develop best practice presentations for all customer-facing marketing channels. Bring together internal teams to apply historical key learnings to current recommendations, with focus on establishing brand identity and educating customers on card program benefits by channel. - (15%)

  • Support brand discovery in partnership with New Client Onboarding Manager. Ensure brand vision for the credit program is shared cross-functionally and realized through collateral design and marketing strategy across all channels. - (10%)


Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 2+ years experience in Project Management, Advertising, Communication, Business Management, or Marketing.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field of study or equivalent, relevant work experience

  • Experience in financial services marketing.

  • Proven track record of managing successful marketing campaigns.

Work Environment

  • Normal office environment. (Remote or Hybrid), 3 to 4 days per month are required in office if within 60 miles of a posted Bread Financial location.

Salary Range (unless otherwise noted below):
$61,900.00 - $112,100.00

Full Salary Range for position:
California: $71,200.00 - $140,200.00

Colorado: $61,900.00 - $117,800.00

New York: $68,100.00 - $140,200.00

Washington: $65,000.00 - $129,000.00

Maryland: $65,000.00 - $123,400.00

Washington DC: $71,200.00 - $129,000.00

Illinois: $61,900.00 - $123,400.00

The actual base pay within this range may be dependent upon many factors, which may include, but are not limited to, work location, education, experience, and skills.

Bread Financial offers medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, and other voluntary benefits (including basic and optional life insurance, supplemental medical plans, and short and long-term disability) to eligible associates (regular full-time associates scheduled to work 30 hours per week or more) and their spouses/domestic partners, and child(ren) under the age of 26. New associate elected coverage begins on date of hire (with the exception of disability coverage which has a 6-month waiting period). Six weeks of 100% paid parental leave for eligible parents is available after a 180-day waiting period. Hired associates can immediately enroll in Bread Financial's 401(k) plan.

All associates receive 11 paid holidays. Associates have discretion in managing their time away from work through the Flexible Time Off (FTO) program and may need to notify and receive approval from their manager prior to taking the time off. Associates (except those located in Illinois) receive 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time ("PSST") upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year. Illinois associates receive 40 hours of Illinois PSST upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year and 40 hours of Illinois Paid Leave upon hire and at the beginning of each subsequent calendar year. Illinois Paid Leave must be used before associates in Illinois will be approved to take FTO.

Hired associates will be able to elect the purchase company stock during offering periods in June and December. You will be eligible for an annual incentive bonus based on individual and company performance.
