Maintenance Components, part of Product Support & Logistics Division (PSLD), designs and manufactures quality wear and maintenance components which exceed Caterpillar customer's expectations, such as: Fluids & Filters, Hose & Couplings, and Seals, Tubes & Hardware. Maintenance Components is dedicated to continuously maintaining a world-class end-to-end supply chain network with a footprint of 13 global facilities.
As the Human Resources Manager for our manufacturing facilities in Menominee, MI facility you will have an exciting opportunity to make a difference for Caterpillar people - employees, leaders and the communities within which we live and work - by partnering with facility operations leadership to deliver strategic goals supporting our people.
Success in first year, you would have accomplished:
Building strong trust relationships with facility leaders and their leadership teams
Understanding the businesses supported including customers, suppliers, opportunities, challenges, and short-and long-term goals
Clear understanding of the unique workforces at both Menominee locations, including pulling on key metrics and inputs to develop a strategic and actionable people vision
Strong global team member contributing to the success of the full maintenance components organization
What You Will Do:
Actively participate as an integral business partner on the leadership teams.
Play key role in the facility employee feedback survey results through integrating cultural impacts in the day-to-day business activities.
Responsible for end-to-end people strategy and implementation at both locations.
Provide direction and guidance to all levels of leaders and employees on HR policies and procedures, ensuring consistency.
Lead efforts to achieve a positive Caterpillar Experience for all employees
Provide solutions to attract, develop and retain talent
Lead local administration of employment practices, compliance, training
Lead HR teams onsite at each facility
Partner with expanded Maintenance Components global HR team
What You Have:

Employee Relations: Knowledge of the rights and obligations in the employee relations; ability to adhere to legal requirements when handling employee negotiations.
Talent Management: Knowledge of how an organization attracts, recruits, retains, identifies and develops talent; ability to develop the talent required for an organization to achieve its short-term and long-term goals.
Business Acumen: Knowledge of business concepts, tools, and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
HR: Policies, Standards and Procedures: Knowledge of human resource function; ability to uphold the organization's and industry's standards, procedures and policies regarding human resources management.
7+ years of progressive responsibility experience in Human Resources, including time within an operations facility or warehouse
Relevant HR Certifications
Demonstrated experience partnering with leadership delivering people strategies and initiatives impacting business results
HR team leadership experience

Summary Pay Range: $108,360.00 - $162,480.00 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
