Job Description:

Our client is seeking a dedicated Sr. Full Stack Developer to join their collaborative team. This role is primarily focused on backend work, with the opportunity to engage in some UI tasks. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Java, Spring Boot, Groovy, and Python. This position is remote, with occasional meetings as needed, and a preference for local candidates.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a team of five in a 100% pair programming environment
- Participate in technical assessments and pairing sessions as part of the interview process
- Develop and manage software for our client's eCommerce and enterprise use
- Engage in Acceptance Test Driven Development and Extreme Programming daily

Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Python, Groovy, Java, Spring, and Cockroach DB
- Experience with REST, HTTP, JSON, XML
- Ability to prioritize, communicate clearly, and consistently deliver results
- Experience with TDD, paired programming, code reviews, and aggressive refactoring
- Familiarity with open-source software and tools (e.g., Spring, Apache, Tomcat, GitHub, GitHub Actions)

Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of modern deployment, CI/CD, and configuration management tools
- Experience in building web UI with ReactJS or other JavaScript frameworks
- Scripting, automation, and troubleshooting of processes and systems
- Understanding of networks, security, firewalls, load balancers, DNS, and other infrastructure components

Soft Skills:
- Courage to communicate in an honest and direct manner
- Willingness to accept decisions that depart from your opinion
- Ability to draft user stories and acceptance criteria
- Enthusiastic and self-motivated
- Excellent organizational skills
