The Envita Innovation Program Manager will drive the identification and development of recycling, reuse, and innovation opportunities within existing business units. They will support the Director of Innovation and Technology in implementing corporate strategies, researching and advancing new technologies and processes, and assisting operations staff with field applications to achieve sustainable growth and operational excellence.



Essential Functions



  • Prioritizes Health & Safety by adhering to all policies, procedures, and safe practices.

  • Leverages internal databases to collect and analyze byproduct data, identifying and developing recycling and reuse projects within existing customer base.

  • Tracks and manages innovation campaigns using Salesforce, ensuring timely progress and alignment with organizational goals.

  • Investigates and catalogs potential treatment technologies and service providers to expand recycling and reuse capabilities.

  • Collects and evaluates customer ESG/Sustainability goals to target growth areas and align with appropriate service providers and technologies.

  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, emerging markets, and innovative practices through research, publications and networking.

  • Monitors KPIs and benchmarks, driving improvements in innovation campaigns and identifying opportunities for advancement.

  • Prepares detailed reports on innovation activities, including inbound ideas and project updates, for the Leadership team.

  • Contributes to creating internal tools to streamline information collection from operations teams.

  • Works with marketing and operations teams to develop case studies and presentations showcasing successful initiatives.

  • Supports high-priority, cross-departmental projects to foster long-term growth and strategic goals.

  • Represents the organization at industry conferences and meetings to explore partnerships with new service providers.

  • Occasional overnight travel may be required, 10% travel expected.


Education Qualifications



  • Required High School or Equivalent

  • Preferred Bachelor's Degree Four Year Degree


Experience Qualifications



  • Required 2+ years relevant professional experience in environmental field including waste & recycling, sustainability, energy, and water reduction


Skills and Abilities



  • Ability to digest new ideas/concepts quickly and work with limited supervision.

  • Must be able to prioritize and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a strong attention to detail.

  • Must have strong analytical and statistical skills, including experience making sense of large amounts of data.

  • Interest in sustainability and eliminating waste.
