JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Regulations - Follow CCHMC regulatory and accreditation standards for operations/materials management. Facilitate special requests for pending items both on site and other locations. May collaborate with sales representatives to ensure patient-related items and off site equipment are present & functioning when needed.
Supplies - Perform activities related to the receipt, delivery, and staging of supplies in designated areas. Answer questions and resolve problems with a professional and courteous demeanor. Prioritize in order to fulfill the most critical needs first.
Compliance - Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and CCHMC policies and in support of coordination of environment of care. Partner with staff to ensure compliance and timely response for change and problem solving in area of responsibility.
Coordination - Assist in coordinating the day-to-day activities and assignments of the work unit. Assist in the training of new and current employees. Act as a resource within the department for solving problems and troubleshooting problem areas.
Inventory - Maintain the accuracy of storage/storeroom/designed area inventory by properly accounting for all inventory transactions in the PeopleSoft Inventory software system. Maintain an advanced knowledge of PeopleSoft and how to access all basic functions quickly.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent
2+ years of work experience in a related job discipline
