The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Patient Safety and Risk Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with hospital leadership, directors, managers, and staff across various departments to champion patient safety initiatives. You will support the Senior Manager of Patient Safety, Risk, and Patient Family Relations in implementing safety protocols and ensuring the highest standard of care across MGBMG. This role provides the unique opportunity to shape and drive equity-informed high-reliability concepts throughout the hospital.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee the day-to-day coordination of patient safety event management and lead equity-informed initiatives.
Collaborate with MGBMG leadership on medical peer reviews, patient care concerns, and serious adverse events.
Identify trends through data analysis and recommend corrective measures to enhance clinical quality.
Partner with regulatory agencies during site visits and compliance assessments.
Lead educational efforts to promote non-punitive reporting and equity-informed, high-reliability care across the organization.
Mentor and train patient safety staff, fostering a culture of safety and collaboration.
Qualifications
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required.
3-5 years of progressive healthcare experience, with a strong clinical background.
Experience working in a large, complex healthcare organization is highly preferred.
Proven presentation, communication, and project management skills.
Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).

Special Requirements
Must be available during hospital/site-declared emergencies and for regulatory agency reviews as needed.
This position is primarily remote, but team members will also be expected to go onsite (Assembly Row Corporate Headquarters and System Hospital Sites) as needed.
