Qualifications
Skills and Experience for an IVF RN:
Must hold a valid RN license, with experience in women's health, reproductive endocrinology, or OB/GYN nursing preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication to explain treatments clearly, manage patient expectations, and collaborate with the fertility team.
Ability to manage multiple patients and handle time-sensitive IVF procedures and medications efficiently.
Experience working with physicians, embryologists, and other healthcare providers to coordinate and optimize patient care.
Precision in managing complex treatment schedules, lab results, and patient records to ensure successful IVF outcomes.
Ability to educate patients, medication schedules, and treatment plans while offering emotional support throughout the fertility process.
Strong understanding of fertility treatments, including in vitro fertilization (IVF), egg retrievals, embryo transfers, and medication protocols (preferred)
Education/Degree for IVF Nurse
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Licensure, Certifications, or Registration for an IVF Nurse
Registered Nurse (RN) License
CPR certification required
