Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Procurement Agent to join our dynamic team located in Oklahoma City, OK . This position will s upport the E7 and ETS&S Bombers portfolio for MS&B.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Performs continuous review and analysis of demand and supply
  • Prepares and executes proprietary information agreements
  • Gathers data for supplier performance evaluation and improvement opportunities
  • Supports sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements
  • Communicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance


Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements:

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

There are 2 positions available for this posting. One position will work 100% on site and the other will be a hybrid position.

This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team's discretion and could potentially change in the future.

This Position is for 1st Shift.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • 1+ year(s) of experience in negotiating contracts or managing suppliers
  • 1+ year(s) of experience in Supplier Management/ Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer


Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelors or higher
  • 1+ year(s) of experience working with U.S. Department of Defense contracts
  • 1+ year(s) of experience with various contract types for example: Time & Materials, Firm Fixed Price, Cost Plus type Government contracts, etc.
  • 1+ years of experience with spares and repairs contracts


Typical Education/Experience:

Typically 2 or more years of related work or military experience. Advanced degrees (e.g. Bachelors' or Master) is preferred but not required.

Relocation:

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 15% of the time.

Summary pay range: $56,100 - $69,300
