This part-time 20/hours a week position provides research support for a Physical Activity research study. Principal responsibilities include:
Assist study team with recruitment of participants.
Conduct phone and/or in-person surveys, visits, and measurements with study participants. Learn and follow protocols for baseline and follow-up measures. Contact participants, arrange and prepare for participant visits. Collect and enter process evaluation data, as needed.
Major responsibilities include:
Conduct evaluation of participants 60 %
Participant recruitment and retention 30 %
Data Entry 10%
Job Qualifications and Competencies
Education and Experience
Required: BA or BS in psychology, public health or related field with 1-2 years experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required: Must have bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.
Required: Must provide own transportation to research sites and be able to work evenings and weekends.
Required: Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
Experience working in the community setting preferred.
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Attention to detail. Motivated and self-starting.
Knowledge of necessary research methodology; knowledge of health program planning, implementation, and evaluation preferred.
Experience in programming online surveys (e.g., Qualtrics software) is preferred
Experience working in the community setting preferred.

Must be available to work onsite at Brown University
Must be available to work some evenings and weekends depending on participant availability
