Carlisle Weatherproofing Technologies (CWT) is a leading supplier of building envelope solutions that effectively drive energy efficiency and sustainability in commercial and residential applications. We are looking for an Innovation Process Manager to work remotely tied to our Kimberton, PA HQ.
Job Summary:
The Innovation Process Manager will be expected to coach, guide, and direct leaders and stakeholders as they implement key Carlisle innovation processes. These processes, such as market analysis, customer research & development, product and service ideation, phase gate product development, and sales execution planning, are critical to the advancement of innovation. The Innovation Process Manager will be responsible for developing innovation culture and providing support to innovation leaders within the organization. The Innovation Process Manager will ensure key processes are deployed, improved, monitored, and sustained to deliver successful products and services. This individual will train, coach, and facilitate workshops to deploy innovation process to various business units and functional teams. This is a highly visible position and requires the ability to effectively influence at all levels of the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Innovation Process Management
* Train and coach stakeholders on the Carlisle innovation / NPD process
* Support onboarding to, data collection in, and metrics reporting within innovation systems
* Own NPD project management tool, automated workflows, and dashboards
* Continue to improve stage gate process, templates and financial tools working with cross functional groups to ensure effective and robust NPD process
* Own and facilitate state gate meeting process
* Work closely with product managers to ensure roadmaps are aligned with business objectives, and product timelines are met.
* Assist with the establishment and delivery of organizational innovation targets
* Assist with the identification and scoping of innovation workshops & activities
* Innovation Process Deployment & Support
* Train, support, coach, and partner with stakeholders on all key innovation processes
* Ensure adoption of and adherence to innovation processes
* Oversee the product management processes to ensure timely product development, from concept to commercialization.
* Conduct, support, guide, and document customer interactions - customer data analysis, field research, ethnography, VOC
* Collaborate with Product Managers, R&D Scientists, Marketing, Sales, and other innovation stakeholders
* Expectation to understand, participate in, and support company COS initiatives, with focus on developing a lean mindset.

Education and Experience:
* Required:
* Bachelor of Science in business, project management, engineering, finance or equivalent technical field
* Three (3) to five (5) years as a Product Manager/Specialist, Engineer, R&D Technician/Scientist or Process Manager
* Demonstrated project management principles and practices (including Scrum, Obeya, Visual management, and/or Agile)
* Experience in Product Development, Service Development and/or Innovation processes
* Understanding of the building materials industry
* Preferred:
* Experience in business training or workshop facilitation
* Lean or six sigma certifications
Working Conditions:
This position primarily involves work in the standard office environment, although it is sometimes necessary to perform limited amounts of work at manufacturing facilities and job sites typical of the construction trade. Occasional travel to other Company facilities and trade shows in the United States and Canada is also required. The work schedule is consistent with normal business hours, although weekend or after-business hours work may occasionally be required.
