Position Title: Lead, Team Operations
Reports To: Senior Manager, Team Operations
Location: Charlotte, NC - must be willing to be onsite Monday thru Friday
Slalom is seeking an Operations Lead to join Slalom's Global Technology Team. This energetic team supports almost 1,300 employees within the Slalom Build organization across the Americas. This role includes running core culture programs and onboarding new hires, managing projects and events across multiple cities, developing internal processes, and creating a fun place to work. The Slalom Build Operations Team purpose is to create unique people experiences, with a feeling of belonging and community, by empowering and unlocking the passion of all our employees. We do this in partnership with leaders, bringing new ideas and thinking, adapting to changing needs, and driving consistency, insights and sharing across our organization.
What You'll Do
• Own all aspects of the onboarding experience for new Slalom Build employees. This includes all communications, scheduling, intra-team coordination (IT/HR/Ops), facilitating newhire orientation, welcome buddy assignments, and procuring the welcome gift to ensure a top notch beginning to the Slalom Build experience.
• Collaborate, develop, and execute culture activities and internal events which include in person, virtual, and hybrid events. In-person event duties include sourcing, venue/vendor negotiations, contracts, budgeting, communications,content planning, menu planning, on site event setup and rehearsals. Virtual and hybrid event duties include many of the items above in addition to hosting the video conferencing platform.
• Build strong, accountable relationships while providing operational thought leadership as a participant in the Build location leadership team. This includes driving Build location initiatives, leader meeting agendas, and communications to create a well-informed environment.
• Grow internal Build team operations initiatives and proactively work to enhance our processes while working in conjunction with our multi-city operations teams.
• Partner with location operations team member to foster a collaborative environment that includes sharing operational learnings, ensure cross coverage for day-to-day office needs, and bring a one team attitude. This includes, but is not limited to, keeping the office clean and organized, ordering catering and office supplies, collaborating to identify space needs, and being a general 'go to' for operational and office related questions.
• Support and promote Slalom Learning and Inclusion, Diversity & Equity program activities.
• Manage purchases with a company credit card and adhere to Slalom's accounting & finance best practices.
• This role is expected to be in the office 5 days a week.
