Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Employee Health Nurse to join our healthcare team in Towson, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and implementing comprehensive employee health programs while ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
Conduct pre-employment physical examinations and health screenings
Manage workers' compensation cases and maintain accurate documentation
Implement and monitor infection control protocols
Provide emergency medical care and first aid services as needed
Coordinate employee vaccination programs and maintain immunization records
Develop and conduct health education programs for employees
Perform workplace safety assessments and injury prevention initiatives
Manage employee medical surveillance programs
Coordinate with external healthcare providers and insurance carriers
Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and maintain required documentation

Qualifications
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license required
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Occupational Health Nursing Certification preferred
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certifications
3-5 years of occupational health nursing experience preferred
Demonstrated experience in workers' compensation case management
Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems
Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance requirements
Excellence in clinical assessment and case management skills
Experience in developing and implementing employee wellness programs
Strong understanding of infection control protocols
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidential medical information
Experience in emergency response and first aid procedures

Identifies and recommends new technologies and processes that reduce the cost of care or improve patient / employee health outcomes.
Education and Research:
Assumes responsibility for maintaining and upgrading competency and clinical knowledge base related to role.
identifies and addresses learning needs of self and fellow staff.
Attends required in-services. Completes written training exercises.
Supports and guides participation in approved research projects.
