We are currently seeking a talented, full time Planning and Scheduling Manager for Life Science and Industrial Manufacturing projects.
Job Description
Oversee the delivery of key assignments and business areas, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and contributing to the companys long-term planning and performance success.
Plan, schedule, and monitor projects and tenders effectively, leveraging data analysis to identify trends, assess risks, and optimize schedule efficiency.
Act as a client-facing planning and scheduling manager, providing tactical and technical advice while collaborating with clients, stakeholders, and consultants at all project stages.
Manage and evaluate tender processes, including preparation of tender documents, analysis of returns, and post-contract schedule and cost management, ensuring effective change control and valuation processes.
Independently handle responsibilities, supervise graduate surveyors, and support multidisciplinary teams in analyzing trends and improving schedule and cost management procedures.
Deliver detailed reports and data analyses with precision, ensuring accurate validation, commentary, and responses to client and stakeholder requests.
Qualifications:
Hold a relevant degree (MS or MBA preferred) with a professional qualification and membership in organizations like APM, RICS, CIOB, or equivalent.
Demonstrate extensive experience in capital program leadership, consultancy project planning, and managing large, complex, multi-phase life science and industrial manufacturing programs.
Possess expertise in project controls, including methodologies like EVM, alternative project delivery methods (e.g., design-build), and tools like MS Project, Primavera P6, and Excel.
Exhibit strong commercial and financial acumen, data management knowledge, and an understanding of project lifecycles, sustainability, and carbon considerations.
Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of guiding diverse teams and maintaining senior stakeholder relationships.
